DD changed...

So my DD has been changed 3 times now!
According to my LMP my due date is supposed to be January 12th...BUT then an ultrasound in Sept. says apparently it's January 25th, THEN today I had an ultrasound, little man is measuring 5lbs 11ozs, and the tech said I still have 5 weeks 3 days which puts me at I think Feb 5th?! Like WTH...Has this ever happened to anyone else? or is it just the doctors here...

Just let LO come on their own and don't dwell too much on a dd. good luck sweetie.

They shouldn't be changing it this late in the game. When was your first ultrasound? Early ultrasounds are generally more accurate. Weight estimates can be off by a pound or two either way, so it's not really a reliable method for determining the due date.

I would go with the early dating u/s. It's the most accurate.

That's pretty much what I'm gonna be doing now...But I'm kind of worried like now about his health if he comes "early" according to these dates...Idk...Or like when are we supposed to expect him...I mean I should know what labor feels like but I don't rememeber and I'm scared like I wont know if I'm in labor or something...

My earliest U/S said all dates were correct and that was back in July when I was 15 weeks or so...

OH don't worry I'm not in any hurry to "make" him come like some people...I''m ohk with waiting. I'm just scared like if my dates are off or something and what if he does come early January and he has health problems or something ): I'm scared...my other two babies, came on there exact DD's according to LMP all on their own, and they were healthy but IDK I'm just worried this time around, because I've never been given so many dates

Heh also my son was March 7th 09 lol...And your son was healthy?

Oh I didn't mean it like that.. It just made no sense to me especially being my firs. This time I'm measuring behind, I just completely ignore whenever the tech says well your DD looks like it could now be blah blah blah

Yes, he was completely healthy for his age.. He was 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
Though He had other complications from the actual labor

Yah it's pretty much after them telling me all these different dates. I'm at the point of he'll come when he's ready and hopefully FULLY baked...

and awe poor guy...See my other two were pretty good sized I'm also scared he wont be big enough or something. My other two were 7lbs 8ozs and 8lbs 7 ozs....

And my kids didn't have horrible health problems, just my son with his weird allergies, but that's about it...idk....

Go with the initial dating ultrasound. The second ultrasound is just telling you how you and baby are measuring, but they shouldn't actually change the due date. A friend of mine had this happen to her almost every ultrasound she's had. For example, she is around 32 weeks, but her baby girl is measuring 36. They would not change her due date at this point, but if her growth continues to increase at that rate, she will have to be induced.
