Pain in calf?

Okay, I posted yesterday asking about blood clots because my doctor suspected I had one. I went for blood tests yesterday and my D-dimer was elevated a lot and so they sent me to radiology for an ultrasound of my leg. Well, the ultrasound didn't show any clots or anything, but I'm still having this weird pain in my calf. They also said that I don't seem to have any muscle strain or any shin splints or anything.

Could I maybe have some spinal injury that is causing pain? I have a bad back, is why I'm asking. If I can nip this with a smurfing heating pad, I'll be elated because this frikkin' sucks.

Oh yeah, and the nurse called me up like an hour after my visit and said that she thinks the ER is a bunch of morons and she still thinks it's a clot and told me to keep an eye on my leg lol.

They did an ultrasound on my calf to check for a clot and didn't find anything. I think it was like 2 days later (all kinda a blur now) I went in with painful breathing, thought I hd bronchitis, tuns out I had multiple blood clots in both lungs. I don't know why they didn't catch it, but keep an eye on it OP as well as how your lungs and chest feel.

Yeah, the nurse that called me back later told me to keep an eye on my breathing as well   Just the idea of a clot scares me because I know they run in my family.

:/. The exact opposite runs in my family. I was lucky DD was in the nicu cause I only went in to make sure I didn't have something she could catch. For me it hurt really really really bad when I would start to lie down. Does your calf feel like a halfway Charlie horse?

ALL THE TIME. Mine only acts up when I'm trying to relax -_-

  Well def keep an eye on it. I hope it gets better and isn't a clot. The problem is I think they can't do anything without finding anything, ya know? Be safe OP
