Haha I hear you, I get some weird looks too. I very much believe in a higher power but not one higher power. I think we are here to learn something. Our life and the hardships we have are lessons and stepping stones to a higher enlightenment. We come back until the lessons are learned and move on, maybe becoming that "higher power" for others to believe in.

I went to a Unitarian Universalist church for a while. I liked it for the most part, but I had to drive an hour one way to the church and no one was supportive of me going.

Yeah. She's super super super into her Christianity. She always posts on FB about reading her Bible and how it's her favorite thing to do and how God speaks to her. She has 3 kids and never talks about them, but she won't shut up about her religion.

THAT is the point that I think people take their religion a little too seriously. Like, it's great that you believe in something, but contrary to what most christians believe, I don't think god should be put before your family.

If God is speaking to her, there's something wrong with her and it's not her religion. She's a little loco in the cabeza. She might need to see a doctor about that.

Yeah she has said before that as much as she loves her family, Christ comes before them. I'm like no, no, no, no, no.

If my mom said something like that openly, I would be so hurt. :/
