pelvic pain
posted 28th Dec
Hey ladies,
I'm 28 weeks and am having seriously ridiculous pelvic pain. I've had it since 18 weeks but it's getting worse. I'm waiting for a call back from my hospital about a brace, but it's been Christmas etc so I'm still waiting. It's so bad at night I can barely move in bed. My question is does anyone have any tips to ease the pain etc ?

Only thing ive found is try to keep your legs together as much as possible when turning over. Same thing also with sitting and getting up. Slowly and legs together. Also if you have a pillow you can put between your knees that helps too.

It could be SPD, I have it and I can barely walk. But these things help.
Sitting cross legged
Laying on the opposite side of the hurt with a pillow between your knees
Hot showers/baths
Get down on your hands and knees and keep your back flat.
Try taking a short walk
Move your leg back and forth at the hip (its going to hurt like a bitch but sometimes when it pops it feels better)
And if nothing else helps try taking some tylenol
My pain started around 20 weeks and its gotten progressively worse. Its to the point now where I'm on bed rest because I actually can't move my right leg at all without wanting to cry. I hope some of these help you!!

I'm in the same boat... Chiropractic care has helped me and warm baths.
