Expecting #2 & nervous!!! (help)

Kind of a vent but im wondering if any other mommies have had this feeling??
So, i have a 16 month old son named Camden & My Husband & I found out we're expecting another little boy May 5th. I'm only 20 i turn 21, 2 months after Carson will be born. I'm Really nervous about having a 2nd child because Camden is my 'lil baby' & im afraid Camden will feel jealous because he is a total mommies boy. Whenever i even hold another lil kid he starts crying & reaches for me! I know they are probably normal feelings but im terrified about it. Have any other mommes felt this way when they were expecting their 2nd baby???

I feel the same way. My son is currently 33 months and I am due May 8th
I try not to obsess over it.. I worried and wondered about so many things before I had my first, yet it all came naturally. I'm thinking its best to just jump in head first lol

Just make sure to include him in the experience. I tell Peyton (she is a old at 3 yrs old) that this is her baby too. I want her to bond with the baby as much as possible so maybe she will be less jealous. I know a 16 month old understands less but say something like "Camden's baby too" so he knows this is his sibiling.

I have been lately but this is going to be our third little girl. Our first isnt much of an attention girl she is a laid back kind of girl right now. But our 2nd she is all about having the attention on her and I don't know how she is going to react with this new baby. She doesnt mind if I hold another baby, but she has to make sure that she gets her attention too. Im 25 years old. ;)

It was exactly how I felt! I did everything I could to make sure that my oldest felt that she was as much of a part of her little sister as I was! She was a jealous little thing until her sister came along. She was also almost 3 by the time I had Ariel. Hopefully he'll adjust to being a big brother and you won't have any problems! I know he's a boy, but maybe playing with a doll and "changing the baby" and "feeding the baby" would help! Just a thought!

As excited as I was waiting for DD2's arrival, I felt terrible like I had betrayed DD1. I didn't feel as tho I could love this LO like I loved my eldest & actually cried a few times because of it. After LO was born it got better. I love both my girls with all of my heart. DD1 absolutely loves her baby sister

I feel the same way. My DS is 18 months now, and I am due in March. They will only be 21 months when this baby gets here. He is also a mama's boy, but he doesnt really care if I hold other babies unless he wants me lol. If I am holding another baby, and he is playing he doesnt care at all, but if he gets hurt, or is tired, then he gets jealous, and mad. I try to include him in everything, but he is so young he doesnt really understand. I guess we will just have to wait and see how it goes when she gets here lol.

Thank you guys, its nice to know other mommies have the same feeling. I was going to try to include him in the sonos & stuff but my son just has soooo much energy he cant sit through them & gets fussy. We talk to him about Carson & have him hug & kiss him & play with my tummy. Like you guys said its going to have to be a 'head first' thing!! & hopefully it works out.
