How much would you charge??????

For watching an infant and 5 year old all week during work (5am-4pm). Holy crap, I just quoted a woman on the Internet a price and she was like "no, that's way too high" Do you think I live in a fantasy world? I used to pay my own MOTHER $50 a day to watch my kid.
Daycare here is $200 a week for a 4 yr old. I don't know about infants.
What's a fair price ladies???

I'm not sure. I charge $12 an hour and from 5-4 is a long full day! I would say in the hundreds.

People want everything for nothing these days.
It's disgraceful really.

Put the kid in daycare with 30 other kids.

Home daycare shouldn't be cheap just because it's in the home.

Probably $40-$50 a day as long as the parent provided diapers and food.

I get paid $20 a day for a 3 year old.

Here its about 25-30 a day but in home daycare or sitters are going at rates of 12.50 an hour.

What did you quote her? I think $20 is way too little of an amount, taking care of a 5 year old and newb for 11 hours for 5 days is a lot of work

50/day. 3/hr for first child, 2/hr for second.

I pay 2.90 an hour for one kid. 3.90 for 2.
But that's at a daycare center.

I only ever had one in day care, the girl baby sat from 9-5. I sent lunches and snacks.
So I guess each. lol
