i pay my mother fifty a week for my ten month old

When I nannyed for a family over the summer they paid 100 a day 3 days a week so 300 a week.

DS has been in 2 in home daycares. Average, they charged $30/day for non potty trained and $25 for potty trained.

If a 4 year olds daycare is $200 a week an infant is prob $350 or $400. I said $325 which is a total bargain because I don't feel like driving somewhere that time in the morning. I charge $12 an hr to babysit. What world do these people live in?

Man you guys are cheap!!!

I would charge at least 50$ a day, probably 60$. And I think that's hardly anything. It's about 1900-2200$ a month if I were to put my 4 year old and infant in daycare.

Yup. Hourly.
Kids are usually there 32-46 hours a week depending on the week.

I was a nanny to 7-14 month old twins and I charged $40/day, which was $2 under min wage at the time. But it was way less than they'd have been paying for daycare and I got to take my kid with me.

That other woman was nuts, not me. I know in cheaper areas it's going to cheaper of course but I won't watch kids for free (unless they are my kids friends).

You just have to remember rates are different in different areas.

I pay $10/hr 2$ more for additional kids.

My daycare provides food and baby formula (:
Ask you have to being is extra clothes, diapers, wipes, etc.
And then the infants and kids both have 'school' lists once a year.
To get started you pay a $150 deposit.
And then after that just your weekly bill or bi weekly.
And then once a year there's an annual fee in the fall.
