Baby wearing.

posted 28th Dec
So in the 7 weeks I have been wearing my baby (in the moby wrap), I have gotten a lot of attention, both good and bad. I've had a lot of people approach me asking if I like the moby and I tell them all positive things about how I can't imagine having a newborn (and a 4 year old) without this thing. I've also had someone come up to me and try to adjust my baby's head when it was perfectly fine and tell me the baby looked uncomfortable and that I'm "suffocating" her.

I have a pin on the front of my wrap that says "yes, I like being squished like this"

I always have the confrontational people approach me. Its always the loud southern ladies who usually yell "That baby is going to fall right out of that thing. I don't trust those. Bless your heart."

LOL, I would slap someone if they said that to me.

Babywearing is my jam. I totally just set page trackers for the Oscha site so I can stalk the new releases.

It's moderately price, but you can make your own! It's always cheaper than a stroller though!

Mobys are good for newborns, but generally aren't very supportive past about 15 pounds and aren't safe for back carries. They aren't pricey though. A good woven will run around $100+, but they are so worth it. My stash ranges in price from $80 to about $350 depending on the wrap, and I have a few because I like to change it up. You could easily get by with one wrap from birth until toddlerhood though!

Not too many people around here wear their babies so I get looks a lot of the time in our Moby or our SSC (soft structure). Even my family has said things about it. I've gotten a lot of compliments about her "looking comfortable" so I guess it's not a bad thing   Having 4 and 5 year old girls, a wrap is amazing! lol I'm getting the Moby Dolcino Jamaica wrap in March, can't wait!!!!

I've heard people like the bobawrap better because of the material, but definitely making your own is way cheaper, it's just one long strip of material. I think I've seen a few pins for it on pinterest. The boba is $48ish I think the moby is around the same.

so, which one does this? lol, $100 is a lot of money for me! plus, i don't get paid maternity leave. so, money is going to be super tight.....
