How many losses in a year

Can one family take? Since Dec 20th last year my family has lost 4 people. I am not sure how much more they can take. My Grandmother has lost a husband, MIL, and 2 DIL, in a year. Now we are worried that she will not be taking the losses well. We just got a call about 30 minutes ago saying my Great Grandma fell, and then died. They said she seemed completely dazed, so they think it was either a stroke, or she hit her head. This is just crazy! Hopefully the new year will be better!

That's horrible. My family always loses people back to back. In 2010 we lost 4 people in a time span of 2 weeks. My cousin, my grandmother, an aunt and a uncle.

Idk but usually they say death occurs in 3s   sorry for ur losses.

It makes me sad, because we live so far away, that my grandfather, and great grandmother never even had the chance to meet my son. That just kills me! I can't go up for the service for this one, and wasn't able to for the others either.My dad owns the business, and I work for him. There is no way both of us can leave at the sametime. And I know it is just more important for him to go. He is taking his Grandma's passing really hard too. She basically is the one that made him really want to do what he is doing for a living, and help him ever step of the way. When he was going to school ( he is a mechanic) he had to do some stuff at hime, and she was out there under the car helping him, in her 60's! She was seriously an awesome woman! She lived a super long llife though. She would have been 97 in March.

My grandmother had one husband die. Then one 10 years later, then her son then her brother. My gma is kinda looney and very lonely now   I hope no one else dies while she was alive, I don't think she can handle it.
But idk, she does surprise me. Loosing her son was the worst one, so when her brother died I think she was able to move on faster.
