Oh yea I definitely see what you're saying. You have a grandfather. I wouldn't reconnect. He messed himself out of his chances for years. What others do would crush me if I were in this situation.

Well if its money motivated shame on them. But yea blood is blood usually no matter what. Yea ur step gpa is great may be a lil hurt but I m guessing he understands the curiosity. Idk if I'd have seen the bio gpa or not. If he's on his death bed he could be feeling guilt n stuff. Sometimes ppl change. My stepbros blood family disowned him until the DNA test n then when he got locked up they disowned him again but the sec he had a son they welcomed him w open arms. This last time he's locked up they've walked away again, but once he's out they'll open doors for him strictly bc he's blood.

I feel differently. Blood is blood to an extent but that doesn't always matter, at least not to me. I'm pretty sure I was right, though, my sister just called and said he gave her baby & my bros baby $50 each & that he sent money for my son but she doesn't know how much, it's in a card.

I agree w u. Blood shouldn't matter but to some it does. Hmm well that's sad but I wouldn't turn the money down if it was me. It'd go for kids savings.

I'm just gonna put it in his change bank. He has two, one for dollar bills and one for change. When he cashes them out he spends them on whatever HE picks.
