yea that happens when your skin starts to stretch. it makes everything itchy. but DONT SCRATCH!! scratching make the itch worse and makes stretch marks worse.

Your skin is starting to stretch. Don't scratch it and put lotion or cocoa butter on to calm the itchiness.

I was like this my entire pregnancy. I literally wore a hole through one of the shirts I always wore from all of the itching.
Only thing that brought relief was to constantly make sure the skin was moisturized.

Use lotion... it may help it a little bit. The itchiness is your skin starting to stretch. I get it all the time, especially my breasts.

Now that you mention it it does make everythin itch my back my legs EVERYTHING! I have some cocoa butter here and im going to try it. Hope it works well because i cant take it anymore! If it doesnt work the anti itch cream sounds like a good idea! Also have you ladies had any discharge from down there? I have to wear panty liners to protect my underwear (tmi) i know but i feel alot better about things when i ask the ladies on this site!

cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamin e oil, any or all of those mixed together and rub them into the areas. Massage will help stimulate the blood flow and will hopefully ease the itch

i itched all the way through, was the only "symptom" I had. lol.
Nothing I did would stop it. the only thing that would give me some relief was getting hubby to rub cocoa butter in. then as soon as it dried i was itchy again.

I got my fiancee to rub some cocoa butter on for me and then he did a body massage to try giving me some relief. Just my luck that as soon as it dried im not itchy AGAIN!

I know it's awfull. I was itchy all the way through. you just get used to it in the end really. Now i'm not pregnant my belly still itches the same cause of the stretch marks and the c-section scar. lol.

yea i was scared of c-sections too. but had to have an emergancy one cause he just did not wanna move. lol. and i didn't dilate. even after waters breaking and 4 days of contractions and being induced. that moment when they say you have to have one IS incredibly scary but you get over it. as long as babies safe!
and the recovery was great for me. very minimal pain and up within a couple of hours and our the next morning.   and i'm incredibly proud of my c-section scar.
