So my ex is taking me to court once again. UGH!!! He gets our son every Wed at 7pm from daycare and then has him till Fri and 4pm. My ex's schedule at work changes every 6 months. He wants are little one every Thurs at 7pm to Sat at 4pm.
I just lost my job last month and am looking for work, I believe that we should both get a equal weekend with our son??? He wants him "every Sat". His attorney is saying an infant at this age to be with both parents is not important.
/What do you think will happen in court or any suggestions Please!!!!????

I think you should try to do the times split up, not 2-3 straight days.

Well right now he has him Thurs 7pm to Fri at 4pm. But because his schedule changed he wants him every Thurs at 7pm till every Sat at 4pm. That's not fair i don't get any Sat at all?

Well of he has him each Saturday and you have him each Sunday that sounds like equal weekends to me.

This is how we do it.

Ex picks dd up Thursday afternoon from daycare. I then pick her up at lunch on Saturday. Every second or third weekend ill pick her up Sunday instead. Occasionally if he has something on ill get her Friday night. We live 2 hours apart.

You said he has him from Wed. to Fri which is 2 days. Why don't you just do every other weekend and then one day/ night during the week?

Sorry yes right now he get wed-fri. Yea that's what i am trying to do is do every other weekend so we both have a weekend to do something with our son. But nope he wants him every Sat. And he saying that taking a sat away from him is giving him less time then he has now? I just dont know what a judge is going to say esp since im unemployed....

I don't see the problem him having him each Friday and Saturday then if that's his days off. Your unemployed so you get to have him every other day. What's the difference?
