Well if you have every day off and those are his only days off, then I think it's pretty fair to let him have those 2 days and just make sure you write into the agreement that once you find a job you will change the schedule to something that suits both of you better.

I understand that. I plan weekend trips with my kids because my oldest is in college so we go to the bay area and amusements parks etc. Thats what the weekends are for right?

If your oldest in college I'm surprised he or her wants to spend regular weekends away with mummy and baby brother....

I'm sure your ex will let you still do that every now and then.

It's not about you and trips away. It's about your son seeing his father and that wins out IMO

It's not all about you though and I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but it's the truth. You have to give and take.
