Presley ?
posted 28th Dec
Too trendy for a boy? My great grandmother passed away in October, and I never had the chance to tell her I'm expecting again! I don't care for the name on a girl, but we're leaning towards Presley Curtis for a boy. Presley foe her love of 'the king' and Curtis after her youngest son who passed away at 19. So keep it on a girl and find another name or does anyone agree with me that it sounds boyish?

Surnames are masculine. It is masculine to me

If I were to use that name it would be for a boy but I think its horrid.

boy... but i think it could go both ways..

I'm not a fan of the name, but I do like the meaning you have behind using it! I find it masculine.

I think it's better for a boy than for a girl. I know two people with the name (one a boy and one a girl). I personally think it's okay, not the best, but for sure not ugly. I really don't like the name Curtis though, by no means. Sounds redneckish to me or something lol.

Definately masculine.

I don't like the name Presley.
But, on a girl it makes me cringe.

I think girl when i hear it. Elvis' middle name was Aaron, so if you find it more girly than masculine, maybe Aaron Curtis?

I hate it but its more of a boy name in my opinion.

See I'm not a huge fan of it either, but I'm all for uncommon names. My sons name is completely made up and part of me regrets it, but it fits him so well. I just live this particular name because it does have meaning.

I like it for both.

I hate Aaron, even though I wanted to name my next son after my uncle and my cousin (who passed) Curtis and Michael Aaron. But I just can't use mine child ale or aaron. . Don't like them. And I love Curtis!
