Period after miscarriage .

posted 28th Dec
Okay so I had a miscarriage almost 2 weeks ago and I have no idea of when my period is gonna come back or if I'm even gonna get one . SO have been having non stop sex and he's been ejaculating every night that we've been having sex. We are TTC so we want to get pregnant but I have no idea when I'm gonna ovulate or anything . Any advice ladies?

they say after you miscarry is when you are most fertile. I wouldnt be suprised if you wont get your preiod and you end up pregnant. Happened to me

It took me about six weeks for my early miscarriages. I have no idea when to expect it for this one.

Did you ever get a period after the miscarriage? I wouldn't even know when to test.

That's why my OB says to wait at least one cycle - for dating purposes.

Mine told me the same thing. After our late loss last December, he said whenever we were ready so long as I had 1 period then we could TTC.

I'm so sorry for you loss. How long did it take you to get your period and how far along were you? I was almost 16 weeks.

I was 19 weeks, but he had his cord injury at 16 weeks gestation. My period started pretty much like clockwork. After my post partum bleed, I guess is what it would be called finished, I restarted my 28 day cycle. My last period started May 26th and we conceived on June 9th.

ETA: Thank you for your condolences. Sorry to hear of your loss as well.

Thank you, that makes sense. It probably takes about a week or two for the HCG to return to zero. Good to know it doesn't take that much longer than an early loss.

Oh my , so when do you release an egg after your miscarriage? Lol I'm so confused. I have not a clue when to test , when I'm gonna ovulate. All I know is that he has not been pulling out these past few nights and yesterday he ejaculated in me twice. During the day when we had sex and last night / this morning when we had sex .

I got some more bloodwork done yesterday to make sure my levels are back at a 0 . I'm sure they are because I been stopped bleeding. Lately we've been having sex every night and he hasn't pulled out not one time so I'm not sure if ill get a period . I have no idea when I'm gonna ovulate or release an egg so I can get pregnant. Ill just have to wait and see . I'm hoping for a pregnancy though!!

If you keep on like that you won't miss the egg, that's for sure! It's probably going to be months and months for me since I have to do it by embryo transfer and we're wanting a transabdominal cerclage placed beforehand.

Sperm lives in your body a few days so I'm hoping we'll get an egg! I'm hoping everything turns out okay for you and your baby sticks!! *sticky dust* mama

I could have written this myself! Mine turned out to be an early miscarriage this month (or a chemical, I'm still super confused what it's suppose to be called) and I was wondering what to do about testing. I'm trying to not think or stress about it this month and just let things happen from now on so I'm not even going to track ovulation, but a friend of mine had a miscarriage at 5.5 weeks and ovulated again (used OPK's) a week and a half later.
