re: Weight Loss Buddies for 2013!

I tried the stationary bike at the gym today, the first 10 mins sucked so bad but after that the pain kind of went numb once i got a rhythm going. That is my new favorite cardio machine. I liked the treadmill, but my feet aren't used to wearing tennis shoes and they hurt like hell after walking for a few mins. And the elliptical killed me. It was so hard... I'm gonna wait to try the elliptical again till I lose some weight.
I did the stationary bike for 45 mins today and the treadmill for 15.

Having a great day today! From about 10:30am till 1pm i walked pushing my son in the stroller, we walked all over town and did all our errands on foot! Planning another walk this evening! Finally getting my calorie intake under control! And i spoiled myself with a mocha toady, i figured all the extra walking was plenty enough to burn off the extra calories. Hoping to see a bigger loss next week! I really want to reactivate my Facebook but i need to get down to 230 before i can do that and I'm at 256 right now! 26 pounds! Hopefully i can get there by the end of march!

Really? Maybe up the working out? I know its hard with babies I make my SO take my DS so I can. How many days are you working out? I do 6 days a week for at least 30 mins cardio try to get in a lil more then I do my own lil workouts after to tone. Im not working so I feel like I sit on my butt too much I have always been active and had a job and with taking care of my 2month old its easy to want to sit around and hold him all day. Im getting better but hes gonna be spoiled I just cant seem to help it bn my first. Been eating 1200 cals but good clean food for the most part. I know lots of ppl dont like fad diets but this week im gonna try the 3 day diet or military diet. It maybe would start your weight loss to motivate.

I don't work, but i live with 2 other adults so my time i can workout is limited. I walk for at least a half hour every day, and try to do 10-15 minutes of something else at home, but my room is too small to do anything and everyone is always here. I eat very clean. I make almost everything from scratch but I've been slacking and eating way too big portions. Ooh and there's no gym here even if i could afford it. The closest is an hour away and like $50/month. So home workouts are all i can do. Tried the 30 day shred and lasted a week. I didn't like it. I can't do fad diets. I can hardly stay below 1500 calories... I've never been a super active person so its really hard to be motivated.

Not sure where everyone has gone. but Im here. I weigh in on Sundays and I was at 187.6 went up. I found what my issue is and I have corrected it and now back on the right track. Generally people to fall off the wagon early, but all we can do is offer support here and help them get back on track!

I was getting sad because I've gained 4 lbs since starting the 30 day shred? But I've been taking measurements and I've lost an inch and a half from my waist in only 4 days! And my jeans are fitting a tiny bit loser. I can only see a tiny difference, but I feel a big difference.
I've modified the 30ds a little, I'm pretty sick of doing cardio since I do an hour of cardio at the gym then I come home and to the 39ds, so while I'm doing the 30ds I substitute the cardio parts for more crunches and bicep curls..

Hate to hear that...
tomorrow is a new day..I have had plenty of cheat days tho its hard to stay on track when there is so many yummy foods around. I just either workout a lil harder or tell myself tomorrow ill do better and I make sure I do...I do some type of exercise everyday even if its just 10 mins. Im jus so unhappy with my body I think that everytime I look in the mirror is good motivation for me I wanna feel sexy again.....

Hi ladies! Sorry haven't been on in a few weeks, but here is my update. I am now down to 174 from 190. Pretty dang proud of myself. I am doing Low Carb. This does not mean NO Carb, it means that I eat the right kind of carbs, protein and fats. I stay away from bread, pasta, anything baked and sugars (natural and processed). I am seeing about 2-3 pound a week weight loss. Currently I am just trying to focus on eating clean whole foods. I walk about 3 miles a day total. I use a step counter to keep track of how much I walk. Hope everyone is doing well!
