It was so exciting. The feeling was better than the money.

I can understand that.
I refuse to tolerate a lack of work ethic in my spouse. Thankfully, I don't have to because it would drive me bonkers.

That being said, having one car has to be difficult on both of you and I can see both sides of this equation. He "needs" a ride and you didn't want to do it because you didn't see the need...yet, the car is technically half his so he doesn't understand why your "want" to be with your parents should supercede his need for a ride.
