Breast!

I used to believe i would do great in breastfeeding, because of how much i was leaking during pregnancy. Well , now that baby is here, i dont seem to be producing much of anything   i hate it! She attaches to me sometimes, but wont stay for long. Sometimes she does and she 's sucking or just plays around with the nipple. I have notices that i do leak a thicker liquid now but probably not milk. What do i do?? Pls help!

You have colostrum at first until your milk comes in, just keep nursing! attach her to the breast often! Dont use pacis or supplement til she has it down pat!

How old is she? If she is still just a newbie she is probably doing fine. I took almost a week for my milk to come it fully and that thicker liquid is like gold for baby right now. Keep it up momma   it is so worth the frustration. I'm nursing exclusively with my 3 month old and had troubles too at first(she was puking up everything) but it helped that my doctor just kept telling me I was doing a great job and she was gaining weight. If your baby is gaining weight you are doing your job well  

Keep offering, if she has plenty of wet diapers through the day she's getting enough. And yes, the milk gets thicker, so what you're leaking is breast milk.....what else would it be?

You're not even supposed to be producing milk yet, it's only colostrum now and don't worry your baby IS getting enough. Your milk will come in anywhere from now until another 4 days. Your breasts will get extremely huge, hard and full and you will know lol believe me. But for now all your baby needs is colostrum.
