WIC doesn't cover almond milk here, which sucks pretty bad since my son in lactose intolerant...but we still get the milk and stuff.

It's definitely worth it in my opinion. I go through milk and cereal like there's no tomorrow (seriously about 5-6 gallons of milk a month between DH and I.) and it definitely helps the grocery money go a little further. It helped tremendously with formula for my oldest and even though I breastfed my youngest the extra food was a big help. Now they allot money for bread and produce as well as the standard milk, eggs, cheese and beans. They are also really good on working with food allergies and intolerances. My oldest was allergic to eggs and milk si they gave her extra peanut butter and rice milk (they gave me a choice in food items to replace the eggs.)

YES!!! And you can choose to get formula or a larger food package while breastfeeding. It helos, especially the more kids you have! Saves me at least $150 at the store each month... thats only for one kid too!

that is great! I think it's wonderful-I mean WIC is a great resource to get on your feet but people planning to go on it while pregnant who already have kids shouldn't be depending on it or having more kids in my opinion.

Yes! It totally helps and they give food according to the size if your family. Plus if you are pregnant you get food good for pregnancy. We even get assistance with fruits and vegetables here! Also they have incentives to breastfeed and will offer you extra food to encourage you to do so.
