Quoting Stephanie Heyer:" And since I knew this would happen, before I get all the "you're a horrible mom posts" I'm going to break ... [snip!] ... help? I'm exhausted and in need of advise not criticism. ETA thanks to all the mamas who are trying to help I appreciate it!"
Quoting Stephanie Heyer:" No, we are. very muchso in the same room"oh ok..Im not gonna lie, I've had plenty of naps with my 2 year old in the room. Like you shes gated, and I hear everything..
Quoting Click Me Click Me!!!:" ummm find someone to watch ur child or put him in day care part time like 4 hours a day or something. "Pretty sure I just explained that I have no one in the area and day cares won't take them because they would rather fill the position with a full time child...
Quoting Mumz:" oh ok..Im not gonna lie, I've had plenty of naps with my 2 year old in the room. Like you shes gated, and I hear everything.."I would never leave him in another room, that just makes me cringe.
Quoting Stephanie Heyer:" Pretty sure I just explained that I have no one in the area and day cares won't take them because they would rather fill the position with a full time child..."
Quoting Stephanie Heyer:" Pretty sure I just explained that I have no one in the area and day cares won't take them because they would rather fill the position with a full time child..."Sorry I just read what I wrote and I sounded incredibly rude, I'm really not trying to be rude.
Quoting Click Me Click Me!!!:" uh u can look up people theres always teens looking to baby sit.... "Teens are in school when I have to sleep, if it were summer that wouldn't be a problem and I have thought of that.
Quoting Click Me Click Me!!!:" ok keep making excusses, there are collage students who would help some dont go to school everyday... Like i only go to classes on tuesdays and thursdays "And how comfortable would you be leaving your children with a complete stranger? My assumption is not the least.
Quoting A&J. ♥:" Sittercity.com Care.com If you have local churches, sometimes they have bulletin boards there with people ... [snip!] ... cat naps. My LO stopped taking naps at that age and after that there was nothing I could do. I can imagine you are exhausted."
Quoting Stephanie Heyer:" I would never leave him in another room, that just makes me cringe."
Quoting shes*almost*one!:" whether you're in the same room or not, you should NOT be sleeping --- especially when you have THREE ... [snip!] ... and awful this is? if you cannot properly care for your children due to your night time job, i think its time for a new job "My children are more than properly cared for thank you. Considering jobs are just so easy to get in this economy and I bring in over $2,000 a month after taxes I think I'll keep mine. My 5 year old is in kindergarten, and my five month old is more than happy to be in his bouncer, swing, or exersaucer. I didn't ask for your opinion on how horrible you think I am because I need to sleep to provide for my family and not nearly lose another damn finger or a hand. I asked for advice to help get my 2 year old to take a nap. But I suppose this is the internet and a public forum so I'll get what I don't want anyways. It's so horrible to gate him into a room where there are only toys a chair and a futon, where all of the outlets are unreachable by him, and the tv stand is bolted to the floor. Yup I'm and awful person.
