Quoting Piecey.:" I remember that, too. Middle school was worse than high school for me. "
Quoting the grace life:" Middle school was awful for me. When I got emancipated in highschool things got better, because I could ... [snip!] ... because I've gotten better as I've aged & obviously as a younger child it wasn't my choice to live like I did. "Awww, thats so sweet.

Quoting T + H = My World:" this is why im glad we have uniforms here "That does absolutely nothing. We had uniforms from middle school up for me, from kinder up for my brother. He still came home in 1st grade saying he got made fun of because his shirt was too big, or his shoes were the wrong shade of tan.

Quoting T + H = My World:" thats true, kids always find something to pick at, but it still makes things easier "They do, and unfortunately, even with a uniform I bet I would have still be made fun of. My dad didn't make us shower, either that or we'd have no water because he wouldn't have paid the bill. He never made us brush our hair, etc. Of course, once we started to get older and we realized these things we started to do them for ourselves, but it definitely wasn't a habit we were raised with.

Quoting Legendary Amanda:" I think uniforms are far worse, it's one thing to be made fun of your clothes which are totally fixable, but when kids start picking on how you look physically.. that seems far worse to me. "I agree. My school wouldn't even let us wear make-up. There was nothing worse than having a giant zit and a teacher taking you into the bathroom and making you scrub your cover-up off.
Quoting the grace life:" Goodness gracious. I remember how heartbroken I was when I started to get made fun of, I can't imagine what it would have been like in K. "
