Symptoms back after miscarriage

A little over two weeks ago i miscarried. I have made sure not to have unprotected sex until im ready to try again. Yesterday my symptoms came back. Heartburn, my cravings of spicy food, eating anything in sight and not being able to sleep at night. When they confirmed my miscarriage my levels had already dropped to 0. Any ideas on what this could be or has anyone had this happen?
