I wouldn't be mad, I would think it was sweet.

The only ways I would be mad are if the person were a known scammer and I felt SO was dumb for getting suckered, or if it was like our last $10 or something.

I you really want help, there is help. There are places you can go to get washed, and clean clothes etc. If you want to live under a bridge, you shouldn't be living off hand outs.

I really don't have any sympathy for homeless adults.

Oh. lol Well, he needs to remember to pay it forward. It doesn't matter if she was really in need or not. That is her Karma. You were doing what you thought was right and you thought you were helping someone out. This world needs a little more kindness to it.
