Labor Denial

This is my 6th baby and I think I am in labor denial. I was at the doctor Wednesday and was 3cm and 90% and baby low and ready to go - my midwife said she would probably see my before the weekend was up. I am having contractions every 10-12ish minutes and my back is really hurting. This pregnancy has just flown by and as uncomfortable as I am and excited to meet our new wee one...I just don't think I am ready to be done yet. I want to savor it some more and just enjoy this time since it will be my last pregnancy. Does that sound totally crazy?

Not crazy at all. I was super bummed after my son was born, because I actually really, really enjoyed being pregnant.

I already feel sad because I know my time is coming son     I've loved and enjoyed my pregnancy and its just flying by too fast

I actually want to look into surrogacy, just because I enjoyed it so much, but don't want a million children, haha.

Thanks ladies...not to mention we still can't agree on a boy's name. So it will probably be a boy, lol.

I did think of that but I think I'd get attached. I also do not want a million children, haha. Maybe one more but in some years.

Oh gosh you're cutting it close! Boy names are tough but we finally decided..I was scared we'd be at this hospital with no name for baby, lol.

We have the hardest time with boy names too. My poor 3rd child wasn't named till he was about 14 hours old either. We are not real trendy and tend to prefer the old fashioned "common" names. We have a Gavin, Madelin, Johnathon, Emma and Charlotte. If this one is a girl it will be Lillian - I love Lucas for a boy and he likes Nicholas. I guess we will see...

I looked into it specifically because I LOVE being pregnant so much! I'm too old though...  

Eeeeek! I am so excited for you!!!! Good luck. I hope it goes smoothly. I can't wait to see pictures!  

Sounds like little one will be here SOON! I have a few more months, but I'm really ready to be DONE! My energy is gone and running after all the kids has made me very cranky daily. I just want this little guy out so I can be back to myself! LOL
We have yet to agree on and name and only some clothes bought so far. Been very slow this time around in getting things for the baby! LOL
