I think claire is super cute....clara makes me think cow name.

Clara is beautiful! One of those old names that's just coming back.  

Clara is on my girl's list for the next baby. I prefer the way we pronounce it here in the UK though. We say Clara to rhyme with Star-ah, I hear it a lot in US pronounced more like Clear-uh.

Here it's more like Claire-Uh. I don't know anyone who pronounces it like clear.

I meant the American pronounciation of Claire (which to my ears sounds like clear). Clara in Uk is more like Car-ah but with an L not Claire-uh.
