how did you handle..

Your LOs first birthday?
I figured I would be sad all day but I was okay decorating, opening presents, ect.
But when we lit her candle and sang happy birthday I just broke down and cried.
It really hit me that my baby isn't going to be a baby much longer.

Pretty well, crying didn't even cross my mind.. I was really busy pushing him around the house in the train and eating cake. lol

Well they are always YOUR babies so don't feel too sad about them growing too fast. My oldest turned 17 this year in Dec . I was a little down ,that she's closer to leaving home   but... she's still my baby lol

I was happy so glad I got to spend my last year and nine months with my little lady. I cried because I love her so much and can't imagine my life without her.

I cry so easy, pregnancy made me an emotional sap and I've been ever since lol

Ah! Your kid has an awesome birthday!  
My DD was born the day after Christmas, It's kind of cool but sucks at the same time with party planning and what not.  

I'm a giant sap, even when I am not pregnant so I balled like a baby.

Thank you! That would be the best Christmas gift though! That is a cool day. I plan on making sure I have a baby around summer next time so they can have cute summer birthdays, silly I know.
