re: I'm 27 weeks and i think my water may have broke

I would definitely go in but it could be discharge. I thought my water broke but in reality I just had really thin discharge that was coming out.

If it was your water you would still be leaking. After they broke my water, that smurf KEPT leaking and I was in labor for almost 2 days.

LIKE I said. To the people who were like "wow no" or "no that's your plug". NO, it was my water that kept leaking. I kept soaking my bed while I was in labor.

if theres a tiny hole in your water..the baby can easily apply pressure to the hole and stop it from leaking..you dont necessarily keep leaking right away.
and the peopl who said no thats your plug..your plug regenerates not your water

Yes, but sometimes it doesn't and she she is better off making sure. If she was worried it was her water she should get seen too, she asked if she should wait for something to happen, wait for what? Her baby to get sick because she gets an infection? She is better to be safe. Your waters can leak slowly and it can have not much of an effect on the water levels but you were in labour so there is a difference.

She said it was dripping down her leg....I'm pretty sure if she didn't wet herself, it was her water. Because iv never known any type of discharge to drip down my leg.

Since it personally happened to me and I had a OB tell me it was discharge I was giving her more ideas of what it could be. Just because you've never known doesn't mean that it doesn't happen.

I know it was devastating! The whole family was heartbroken :p She's pregnant again and has been diagnosed with HELLP(i think thats what it's called) so there taking the baby on 1/6 the baby will be about 37-38 weeks so I just hope all goes well with her and the baby!
