I've gone years without a car and took public transport everywhere - and walked and I would still not get a stroller for a 4 year old. The only justification I could POSSIBLY see is the storage space to carry groceries, but even then....

I think it's dumb... How is a 4-yr-old in a stroller 'gross'? Shouldn't we be worried about more important things, lol. & I personally haven't used a stroller since my kid was 1 so it's not even me being defensive. I just don't think it something to attack someone else over. The only chicks on here I know that use strollers with their older kids are because they are special needs, such as autistic or etc. & don't give a smurf about running away. I think it can get excessive for sure, but I wouldn't immediately jump on someone about it...

The only reason I had one for the child I nannied for was it was before I got my car and we would walk 2 miles each way to the park to play during the day. IMO thats too much walking for a 4 year old.

Wow you guys are so harsh...There is no need for it. We used a front to back stroller for our two. My son will be 4 in Jan and if he would sit in one I so would use one. I agree for safety reason I like having them strapped in. It drives me crazy when being in a crowed place and having them all over the place. We take our kids everywhere and I wish they would still sit in a stroller. I don’t think it’s being lazy. What happen to a kid being a kid. Now a day’s mother expect way too much and want them to grow up so fast. Will it hurt a 4 year old in a stroller NO so what’s the issue

My oldest was a month shy of 4 when her sister was born. We stopped using her stoller when she was 3. We go to the mall and walk places and she walks and the baby sits in the stoller. Once and awhile I have to remind her to stay closer to me. If your sons that bad get him one of those leash things. 4 is way too old for a stoller. They have weight limits as well as the sit and stands.

Really? There is never EVER EVER an excuse for using a stroller system with a 4 year old?

I'm sure a lot of moms of those with special needs might disagree (My 3 yo has SPD and I'd die without a stroller on some days, and he will be 4 soon. Sometimes walking is exhausting, especially during family fun days where its unhealthy and impractical to make a child walk THAT much through disney or the zoo)

or are those kids lazy and horrible too?

Grow up people, unless you've met her DS and know what its like to travel with him, dont judge. Not only that but half of you sound like immature girls just trolling around the internet looking for easy prey, and you're making yourself look like a total smurf while doing it- just saying.

Now to answer your question Momma!
I think some of our local baby stores might have a practical solution for ya, I'll PM you elsewhere about it, so I can avoid having to read any more stupid insults from lonely women.

At 4 no stroller. I have 3 kids and.use one just for baby. I stopped using a stroller with my kids as soon as they could walk really well without falling. Strollers cause lazy kids.

I shop every Saturday at the mall with my 4 yr old we are always gone at least 6 hrs. Some days we get there at 9 and don't get home till 9pm and they don't complain. We go to many different places to shop on sat. Lol

Pushing around a child over the age of.3-4 yrs old creates lazy kids. I know ppl who use strollers with 5-6 yr olds cause they can't walk 5 min without getting tired. Why, because they were never given the option to walk around.

So yes lazy parents use strollers to be lazy which causes their kids to be lazy.
