Diaper covers

I'm not huge into cloth diapering and never was, but I'm sick of buying disposables. We need like all of 2 diapers a day (nap and bedtime) so I figure I'll trifold some old receiving blankets or hand towels and put them in a diaper cover for pee accidents while napping or sleeping so I'm not stuck buying a full cloth diaper. We're about trained. I just want to buy two covers or so. Was wanting to know what diaper cover works the best for a medium to heavy wetter (when he DOES wet)? I remember Thisties being good, but never tried FLIPS covers...how are those? Econobums are nice, but I need something with velcro instead since grandma will have him for naps sometimes.

Flips and Thirsties I've had the best luck with.

If you had a fitted you could put fleece over it, keeps him warm during the winter, but he'll still feel when he's wet.

There are two stores in Denver that sells wicked cheap used cloth diapers. They have some cloth trainers to. The giggling green bean (2 locations). And you can re-sell them when you are done for store credit.

Really? That's even better. Where are these stores at or what are the names of them? I'll have to go look tomorrow.

There are two locations in denver, Yeah but idk if they have used trainers. But if you got a velcro dipe he could totally take it off on his own to, so its just like a trainer.

That's what I figured!!

You might even just get like 4 pocket diapers or AIO's. I think he would fit into OS, how much does he weigh? They have them for like as low as $5-8 a diaper there.

Wow! That's an amazingly good deal. He only weighs 29 pounds so I'm sure he'd fit..

I love used stuff! I'll be calling in the morning to those stores to see who might have a few used pockets or covers in my price range. Thanks for letting me know
