Supposed to does not mean common. It is common for humans to have piercings, not something we are supposed to have.

No animal including humans are meant to have pirecings. It is entirely a vanity thing. A child who can not speak for themselves shouldn't be forced into a piercing. Most parents have problems keeping it clean and most parents get their child's ears pierced with a gun...not sanitary.


It's vain and stupid

imo piercing guns are smurffy to use even if you're getting it done for yourself. They're hell on tissue.

I don't think it's terrible for a baby to get their ears pierced or a boy to be circumcised but to pierce a dogs ear for "experiment" is down right disgusting. I wish I pierced my daughter's ears when she was a baby. She wants to wear earrings so bad and we got them done when she was 5 and ended up having to take them out because it got caught on her pillow and slit her ear a little. I don't think that would have been the case if she got them done earlier. People and animals are different, don't bash those who circumcise or pierce their kids ears.

It is legal to get an infants ears pierced if it was illegal I wouldn't have done it to my daughter.

I get smurf for not getting dds ears pierced. I dont have any urge to get it done since it would be purely my want right now. When she asks and can properly take care of them...different ball game.

It's odd, but not really all that different from how they tag cattle....

Mmhmm. That's why if dd wants hers done we're going to new hampshire and getting it done at a reputable tattoo and piercing parlor. None of that nasty Claire's or Wal Mart piercing gun bull smurf.

reminds of last summer when my husband's cousins came over to his mom's house to swim and their 3 year old had 14gage earrings in her ears!

it's disgusting and unacceptable. I'd report the image!

I got them when i was and infant i didn't hate my mother for doing it so my daughter got them too she's my daughter my option who are you to judge?
