Doctors appointment...

I was suppposed to have my first appointment tomorrow 10 weeks.
Well I had to cancel because of work so now they are saying they can't fit me in till february 1... I feel like thats really wrong and not all that safe to go without prenatal care for 15-16 weeks of pregnancy...Has anone else had to wait that long for there first appointment.

My first appointment is in two weeks, ill be about 15-16 weeks  

I was 12 weeks at my first one. They dont do much other than maybe a dating ultrasound. If you plan on having the NT ultrasound call them and see if you can schedule that but otherwise just take your prenatals.

I didn't have my first OB appointment until 20+ weeks with this pregnancy.. I didn't know I was pregnant until around 16 weeks and my OB couldn't get me in until a month later.. just take some OTC prenatals and you'll be fine.

My cousin did with her 2nd. She was fine.   Just take your vitamins and call them if anything is unusual.

I get being frustrated, though. My first apt was supposed to be today but they had to reschedule. I'll be 12 weeks when I get to go. Bright side is, they might be able to tell you the sex if you get an ultrasound!

I had my first appointment at what I thought was 12 weeks but I turned out to be almost 16 weeks. You'll be fine as long as you're taking a vitamin.

At this point the better give me an ultrasound at that appointment, the owe me that. Haha.
