i feel kinda taken advantage of...

Okay so my friend has been staying with us for the last month or so... she has my sons room (she's only supposed to stay a couple months) and well the last few days she's had this attitude... she doesnt have a car so i take her to work (like maybe a couple miles from the house) and its like she wants me to WAIT for her and i HAVE to take her and with her foodstamps (she has two kids, one is with their father and she has her 8 month old) she said she'd help by buying groceries and she has been saying no... and i keep her 8 month old while she works because I'm out of school till the 7th and i wanted to help her out... guy im just feeling like shes taking my niceness for granted and it kinda pisses me off that i get this attitude from her as if i owe this to her... she got kicked out of her moms place so i saved her ass... like seriously...

I would sit down with her and explain that you do not mind helping her, that is why you took her in, but you need her to help out with groceries at least.

If having a talk doesn't help then she needs to go...

I wouldn't allow someone like that to live with me.

So tell her to straighten up, cut the smurf, and help you out or gtfo.

Kick her ass out... It doesnt sound like she is holding up her end of the deal, so she can leave.

This exactly. We invited my BIL to live with us for a few months. Turned into a yer and he never got on his feet. He worked extremely part time, and never paid us a dime. Needless to say he got the boot, and now my life is perfect!

Talk with her, tell her how you feel and if her attitude still doesn't change say you have to go!

Don't be terrified it's your home! If it was the other way around i bet my bottom dollar she wouldn't hesitate to speak up and tell you something
