I just say my EDD.. Until I find out when I'll have the surgery, which I find out in like 2 wks.

My (second) c-section was done 2 days before my EDD so I just gave everyone my EDD so that I could go to the hospital and have my c-section in peace and quiet without a million people running up to see him as soon as he was born.

That's what I'm doing. I only want my mom and SO there until I'm ready for the whole family to come see him. It's too overwhelming... For me anyways.

I did my EDD, because I figured The C-sect wouldn't happen because of how big he was. But alas he stayed in, but I did get to have it on his DD because the Dr. Over booked planned C-sect's for that day(she only has one of the OR's Monday morning's from 6a-11a for planned)

I am having a repeat c section on Jan 29th, but my original due date is Feb 5th. I'm curious what others put as their "due date".

I didn't even allow my inlaws up the night the twins were born. lol We wanted it to be stressless and just enjoyable. It pissed off my monster in law but I didn't care. I never had a c-section before them and I didn't know what to expect. Especially not having twins. lol

oh yaaa I agree with that. I was so pissed after my last one. I was sitting alone in my room while all the visitors were out in the hall way with my baby. That I had only met for seconds.

I know mine will be a minimum of a week early not that it's a big difference but just wondering. I usually mention to people it will be a earlier or so. Providing baby #2 is a huge as baby #1
guess I won't know until the end!

I would have been pissed!! My kids NEVER left my room without me.

I was so confused and dopey at the time I didn't say anything. But when I think back on it I get livid. Especially considering they treated me like crap my whole pregnancy.

I just remember my mom rushing in the room with him saying let him see his mother!! so this time I want lots of bonding time and no one besides my SO and mom for at least the 1st day.

They didn't even let my baby sleep with me the 1st night. Him and my husband stayed in a different room   I had pre e though so I hope this experience is completely different. I had nightmares for months after

That sucks. I am sorry. I just didn't allow anyone up at the hospital. My family was never an issue but my husbands mother is a crazed bitch. Thankfully the hospital that the twins were born in had a tight security. They had to be buzzed into the ward. I told her I wouldn't buzz her in so not to even try. LOL Here in Montana anyone could walk into the ward but trust that they couldn't leave with a baby

i just say im due may 18 or she can come sooner since im having a c section

I always said my EDD but that I would have to go a week early.

Ok I will keep saying what I've been saying. Due date but probably a week or so earlier.

A lot of people ask why I don't try to have a VBAC eeeh why do people care lol

I always tell them this.

"You know, I just don't think 11lbs plus is going to fit."(in regards to why I don't let the baby come on it's own)

And then people get this horrific look and say, "Oh I'm so sorry, that's just unimaginable."
