Frustrated..

Last period was Nov. 5th-10th. I bought a pt today and when I opened it up there was already a faint blue line on one of the control bars, I still used the test and the results were negative. Should I rely on these results? Or should I buy another one.

So frustrated cause I have a cold right now and really would like to take some medication but kind of waiting. My dr. Is also away on holidays.

If there was already a line I definitely wouldn't trust it, I'm not big on blue dye anyways. I would say go get a pink dye test and try again.

Some blue dye tests do have one line already. I took one the other day like that cuz I've had 5 days of positive opks. For some reason they put that line there automatically so you can see the vertical line if you're preggo. Mine just had a very bad evap which had color. I know I'm not preggo as my darn egg finally decided to give it a rest and release already. But get you a pink dye just to be safe. I hate blue dyes as well but that was the cheapest one Walgreens had.
