Bloody show

Today I had my 38 week appointment and had my membranes swept, im 1cm and the doctor could feel the baby's head. About an hour after they were swept I started passing bloody red/brown mucus and there is still blood on the tissue paper, so I'm assuming its my bloody show. I've been crampy all day as well. How soon after having your bloody show did you go into labour?

i went within hours, but everyone is different.  

that isnt bloody show. its just from him sweeping your membranes.. ive had mine swept probably a toatl of 6 times with all my kids and everytime i spotted red and brown and pink and lost mucus plug.. and only with my frist did i go into laboru 48 hours.. all the other times nothing happened.. good luck.
