Blood Clot?

If you had a blood clot when you were pregnant, what were your symptoms? What did they do for you? Did you have to go to the hospital?

I'm asking because I have had pains in my leg and I didn't think anything of it until my doctor seemed alarmed. He made me get a full blood work-up. I didn't even mention the pain to him, I was talking about it to my husband and he overheard me and asked about it :/ I hope he's just panicky for no reason...

Usually your leg will swell, turn red, be tender to the touch.

Blood clots pregnant or not are very serious and need medical attention right away.

That's what I thought, but it's not swollen, it's not red, and it's only KIND OF tender to the touch. But I've been having my leg go numb and cramp a lot lately. The other weird thing is it's not in the back of my calf, but in the side...so I'm hoping it's just the doctor being overly cautious.

Pain in the leg is a good sign of a blood clot. It's super serious. I had an uncle who had to have his leg amputated because he had a clot and waited too long to have it looked at

If it is in your calf.
Try to point your toe up.

That is a sign of a blood clot, along with pain swelling, and redness in the area.
