My husband is really set on this name but I really dont like how common it is. But mainly I dont like it because I know a girl with this name and I dont particularly like her lol well anyways what do you think about this name?

I think it's boring.

Definitely overused with all the spelling variations. I don't care for it.

Melody, Maya and Daphne(spelled correctly) are so much better than Hailey

I strongly disagree. Daphne and Maya are great and although I don't care for Maisy or Melody, they are ten times better then Hailey.

Daphne, Melody and Maya blow Hailey out of the water. It's trendy, boring and overdone. What about bringing up Harlow or Hannah as an alternative?
