the thing is it's not a "small number of people"... It's too many people which should be called: Social parasites.. Living off other people's hard work.

I'm not studying statistics so I don't know a number, probably, you don't either. I know what I'm talking about, I know plenty of poor neighborhoods with families who have up to 10 kids, hundreds of them.. And they don't even seek for jobs. Now my family paying them to support their kids? What a joke.

Doesn't matter if they're TTC or just have plenty of babies in a row by "accident". If they can't afford, they need to put their adult pants on and act like grown ups.

Need I remind this thread that most of the people receiving something like food stamps are receiving them to make a paycheck stretch further. It's not a good idea to TTC while using social programs but most of them using social programs are not leeching off the system.

Either support people who have children they technically can't afford or support terminating pregnancies.

I never say I don't agree with abortions. I don't agree with them "out of the blue". If it's for health reasons or moral reasons, I have nothing to object. If they can't afford or simply don't want the baby, I'd go for adoption. Simple as that. Anyways, can't see how that relates to the topic.

omg.....really? None of them work? Do you even realize how many people who DO work who are on some kind of assistance? Are you that smurfing stupid or blind? The majority of the people I know who are on food stamps DO work, hell, I know people I work with who are on food stamps. You make everyone out to be some kind of lazy smurf and their just not.

Acting like a grown up when you can't afford another child is making sure you don't bring that mouth to feed into the family, regardless of how it was conceived. Adoption isn't always the best thing either. And did you forget that the pregnant woman still needs to eat to provide for the growing fetus which means she would still require food and medical assistance.

I think she lives in lala land where everything is ideal and she sees herself as better than anyone on any type of assistance and is under some delusion that none of them work.

No. They are ALL sucking our of the system.
No reason to sugar-coat what is going on. I am in favor of saftey net programs that help those in true need on a temporary basis, but they are still living off of other peoples money.
