Not particularly interesting when it's been done 500 times just in the past 6 months and the general consensus is that it's wrong.

I don't really browse through the d&d section often so i apologize if it has been brought up several times. It was just a couple of other family members were talking about it, and i just thought it was an interesting topic.

I don't care. I have better things to worry about than how people plan to feed their growing family.

It matters to me because the situation doesn't only happen in the U.S. It happens everywhere and we have the same problem here.

I still fail to see why it's any of your business? It's not your vagina, it's not your fetus and it's not your life and you have ZERO place to sit and judge. Let's all cry because a tiny sliver of our taxes goes to feed people! How do you know these people aren't working and feeding back into the system? I never said I agree with it - cause I don't, but I don't get all butthurt over what other people choose to do, there are more important things going on than whether someone decides to have a baby while they receive food stamps.

When it touches our own money that we work our butts off to earn, it's 100% our business. We have the right to say it's wrong. We have the right to know to where our taxes' money goes to. We have the right to disagree where it goes to, too. It's our money, it's our business.

If my mom was responsible enough not to have the child she would love so much to have, then why the hell should she be paying another woman to have hers?

I think it's horrible, and disgusting. I think a good chunk of these people are leeches, and that's all they will ever be. I guess it's their choice if they want to continue to dig themselves deeper and deeper into that sort of lifestyle, but I sure as hell wont. All I can really do is shake my head and move on when I see the 22 year old mother of 3 purchasing a cartfull of cheetos and pizza snacks.

My reading comprehension is just fine - but in the end, the government will tax the smurf out of you and you will not always approve of where your money is going. Whether it's to fund a war you don't approve of, feeding people you don't approve of or a healthcare plan you don't approve of - there are bigger things in our society to worry about than whether a select few people decide to make welfare their way of life.

It's extremely stupid, IMO.

...and people wonder why some of us complain about such things. You don't PLAN a child while you are on assistance. Things "happen", but you don't PLAN it.
