Not only is it selfish, it's also a huge sign of irresponsability.

Seriously.. If they're struggling so much to feed the kids they already have, why the hell are they bringing another child into the world? Ahhh pisses me off: SO many wonderful women who want to have kids and have monetary issues and don't have the baby because of it.. And here we are paying for these people's selfish wishes with our own freaking money.

Exactly. I work and have to support my kids I dont see them, put them in daycare so i can support them while other parents can be there for their kids dont have to work and live on welfare make more babies. Basically paying for other ppl to have kids while I'm missing out on my own and my kids their parents. We both work very hard to provide for them.

I don't think it's anyone elses business. Why are you putting her business on the web for everyone to judge anyway?

I wonder if a lot of you claiming to be paying for her kids actually understand how very little of your check goes to welfare?

We, especially me, are talking in a general way. I am not from the U.S, as you can see, but in my country, a lot of our checks go to welfare, yes, some families do need it.. while others are just selfish and keep having babies of their own and let other support them.

My mom wanted a third baby, too.. Why didn't she have it? because she knew she couldn't give 3 kids the quality of life we have.. And she knew she'd struggle. Call that wisdom, solidity.

And it's no one's business? Well, IF they could fully support the children.. Obviously it's no one's business. BUT.. they don't. I don't really think my mom who works her ass off everyday should be making money to go to women who have 6,7,8 kids "just because they want them".

People just need to grow up a little and realize we can't have everything we wish for. Yes, wanting a baby is a precious desire.. But if you can't support them.. you shouldn't be counting on other people or external help to raise your own.

If I was on foodstamps I probably wouldn't be TTC. However I'm not going to judge others and if they want to.. then that's their choice.
My parents were on foodstamps when I was younger.. they got preg with my bro (not trying) And then after that my mom got her tubes tied. (they had 3 kids in total) My dad worked really hard and got a better job and we got off foodstamps and our life was nice! We were never rich, but we were middle class.   No matter how bad a situation may look it can get better...

Firstly, I believe children deserve more than bumping along the bottom in life.
Secondly, a LOT of money goes to the zillions of programs that help the poor.
It's irresponsible to bring another child into the world when you can't support yourself let alone handle an emergency.

I didn't say I agreed with it or would do it - but I don't post my friends smurf on out on the internet for everyone to judge, either. Yes, a LOT of money goes in, but show me a percentage of how much is taken from your taxes that actually goes to welfare.

I have seen figures that say 13% of federal taxes go to safety net programs. That is substantial.
A study was done a few months ago that added all the state and federal programs together and it totaled 1 Trillion pr year.
