Baby's growth

Just wondering if any1 had their baby measuring big to the baby's growth slowing down & being where it should b 2 baby's growth staying the same? I'm 39weeks+2days, my midwife is going to book a scan next week if things are the same -2 check the placenta is working o.k and the fluid.

Nope, my new baby always measured big.

My little boy was always measured bigger. They told me he would be at the minimum 10 lbs. He was born after his due date at 7lbs 7oz.

Do you mean the fundal height?
Mine jumped all over the place, sometimes I was 2 weeks ahead, sometimes a week behind, then my next appointment id be a week ahead... I didn't have a late scan but all my scans before 20 weeks she was measuring behind my lmp and date Scan dates. She wasn't a big baby 5lbs. My placenta had calcified but I don't know if that had anything to do it her being small.

Yea I do mean the fundal height...mine was measuring higher for about an 8pound baby, then dropped to where it was supposed to b measuring for a 7pound baby. At 33weeks fundal height was 35, 35week it stayed the same, 37weeks it was 36 and last 2 weeks it's been 36.5

Yep mine did that too! Very rarely it mean there's an issue with fluid (I believe too much fluid isn't the best thing) and it can be signs of a big baby if its consistently big every week. It's good you're getting a late scan though to check for size and fluid.

Ohk...I just worry heaps after having 3 miscarriages and it being a year since the last miscarriage.
