Cramps, no period, bfn - please help!

Hello....

My fiance and I have been using the withdrawal method for the past few months, and we weren't very careful with it recently. He pulled out, but it got on my inner thigh, etc (sorry tmi). Anyway....I usually have a 25-26 day cycle and I am now on day 29 with no sign of AF. I have been cramping as if I am on my period for about 4 days now and it is way worse at night when I am trying to sleep, and it comes and goes during the day with times where I don't have any cramping. My nipples are sensitive rather than tender and I am exhausted and experiencing mild vertigo-type symptoms off and on. I just feel like I'm in a fog or perpetual state of half asleep, but then I can't sleep through the night.

I tested today, but not with first morning urine (I couldn't wait once I bought the test!) so I had only been holding pee for about two hours. It was a clear negative. I am really confused though and wondering if it is still possible to be pregnant? A home test would be accurate by this point, right? Should I still consider pregnancy as a possibility? Anyone have a BFN after missing their period and then later get a BFP?

Thank you so much! I just really don't know what to think, it is not normal for me to be late. My cramps are actually much more mild today than they have been the past few days :-/

that happened to me, i didnt get a BFP tho. i got my period two days after i took the first test. both were clear BFN

I guess that is most likely what will happen to me....maybe I am just being too paranoid. I think I am extra anxious because I have been in and out of the doctor with UTI that keeps coming back this month, so I have been on two different antibiotics and I am worried that if I did get pregnant this month, that the baby would have been affected by these medications! :-/

im sorry. it sux not knowing... i kept hoping that maybe i was pregnant (turns out i was but i had a chem pregnancy...).... i was excited for a bit

I am tempted to take another test here pretty soon......even though I know it will also be negative. Ugh! So hard to be patient!

Maybe since you only waited 2 hours to pee, it was diluted and thats why you
got a negative. I would try to hold your pee for at LEAST 4 hours before taking another test. Good luck.

Thank you....I will try testing again after holding my bladder for longer. I am feeling discouraged at this point though and am hoping to either get bfp or have AF just show up soon so I don't have to keep wondering what is up with my body! I am also really tired of these cramps. They are not bad...but definitely uncomfortable - I didn't sleep well last night or the night before because of them.

Don't drink anything while you are waiting... because that can water it down too.

I took another test after about 4 hours....still negative. But I guess I should probably give it some time for the hormones to multiply increase? I just really want to either start my period or get a positive. I don't like not knowing! :-/

I am having the same problem! Don't worry. I am just annoyed as you are. I never had a real AF this month... only scant spotting on and off and didn't last long at all.... So, for me I have recently had some minor pregnancy related syptoms, pressure cramps randomly.. and no REAL AF and also confusion on pregnancy test... because some looked very faint positives to me, not really sure...some were negative and some were inclusive. So, I am just waiting to see what happens and take a test again next week and then see a doctor is a normal AF next month is not here. Grrr. I hate this.

Still no sign of AF....but my cramps are almost gone today. I called my doctor and was told to just call them back if I still don't have it in 5 days. I am feeling like a negative test at 3 days late would be pretty darn accurate, so I just wish AF would show up already so that I don't have to have this on my mind anymore. :-(
