38 weeks on sunday

i'm just about 38 weeks, and have had no progress at all. i'm so frusterated at this point. i haven't lost my mucus plug, only 1cm dilated, cervix is thick and baby hasn't dropped. i know everything can happen in the last few days of pregnancy, but at this point i feel like my baby boy will come later than expected. (i've had more white/thick discharge, but i know it's not my mucus plug, unless it's coming little by little)

anyone else 38 weeks, and no progress?

Try and relax. Two weeks to four weeks is a long time to make progress.
I know its hard because late pregnancy is not fun. But baby will only make progress when ready.

Well I sat at 2 cms for two weeks when I was pregnant
and then, I had so much discharge I felt like it was my water  
But I was 36 weeks at that time and had my son when I was 37 weeks 6 days

I'm 37 weeks 3 days and I have zero progress. I just got checked today. No dilation or thinning out. Baby hasn't dropped either. No mucus plug. I am a little disappointed. I was hoping for some sort of progress but people say things can change quickly. Maybe I'll get lucky when I go back next week, and something will have changed.

At 38 weeks I had no progress whatsoever.

it sucks when nothing has happened. i don't even sleep in bed with my bf, but on the couch cause there's support for my back lol. also, the emotions are alot worse than before

My emotions have been super different with this child but I'm also with a different man. So there are so many days out of each week I struggle to not cry... I think it's different with every pregnancy!! Your gonna be ok let it happen when it's ready and your OB won't let you go to late... Don't let that get to you. Your baby will come when it's ready. But also I never lost a chunk of my plug it must have come out little by little. So if your having more discharge it's probably the plug just a little at a time!

well s/o doesn't help.. he makes me more emotional. he says i whine too much (about my back because it hurts so bad) and he won't even offer to massage it. whenever we walk e.g. in the mall, he never holds my hand and walks a little ahead of me because he says he can't walk as slow as me. he says pregnant people walk the same speed as non-pregnant people lol.. so f'ing frusterating. he's staying at my house atm for another week and hasn't said 1 word to me.. dumb 'men'.
