re: Preschool

My daughter started at about 31 months old. She's thoroughly enjoyed it so far, and has changed so much. She goes to pre-school full time though( its at a learning center), so lets just say its alot more than $77/ month!! The cost sucks big time, but she's learning plenty. I know that one of the criteria for pre-school, in addition to the age minimum, was that she be fully potty-trained.

My DD started when she was a month away from being 2. It is wonderful! I was so nervous at first but she loves it and learns a lot!

My son hate when I leave, unless he is with grandmother. He didn't even cry his fiesta day lol he loves it and he finally naps again! It's a win win

M started at 3.5 she is in the colorado preschool program so its free.

We are putting the kids in part time preschool in September. (They will be 4 that following December) The way their birthday falls and the laws in NY work, we have to pay for the first part time year, then they will go into the free universal full time preschool the following year and then Kindergarten. (They will turn 6 in Kindergarten)

Audrey will be 5 in January & will be starting pre K then. & she'll go until she starts kindergarten in August.

And he might qualify, but I pulled him from therapy around 2 so no clue if they'll still let him in to free preschool since I did that. He is smart , but he isn't where I'd like for him to be quite yet. Do I wait to enroll him until he sees his Pedi for 3yr appointment or do I go ahead and enroll him in the preschool and just switch him if he qualifies?

I would sure apply just to see if he does qualify. They would have him start in fall. Even if you stopped doing child find he would still qualify. Does your district have pre-school? Where do you live?

Find the elemetary school that you are in-district for and call and ask. Also look for a local head start if they dont (or even also)
