Are your kids afraid of certain toys?

DD is almost 4 now, and for some odd reason MANY dolls freak her out LOL

She got the most adorable baby doll from my BFs mom, and when I tried to take her out of the package, DD lost it, ran away saying "I'm done! I'm done with the baby! Throw it away!" So I took the doll and I've been holding it and trying to get her to warm up to it. Every few minutes she'll bring the "baby" toys and try to feed "her" but she still won't hold her LOL She must think she's real hahaha

Last week we were in the drug store and there was this 3 foot tall doll there with eyes that opened and closed when she stood or laid down, and being a cheapie doll she was a little creepier looking than most lol. When DD saw her she ran away calling the doll Creepy, and told it to "get away from me doll!"

I hope this isn't the start of a doll phobia  

PS- the baby doll is just a plain ol' doll...It doesn't talk or move or anything like that lol.

My daughter is afraid of zhu zhu pets lol

  Maybe because it looks a little close to a baby ( in and odd freaky way) . DD is freaked out by this bumble bee toy my mom got her .... it rolls around sings and vibrates . She cries when it's near her but if it's far away shes ok with it . I started trying to show her it's ok . I talk to Mr bumble , touch him and say things like awe Mr bumble . little by little I bring him a little closer so she gets use to it. Maybe try loving on the freaky doll LOL

No is not! Trust me I seen uglier ones.

My Mom got this for my son's first b-day and when it's on he cries and hides from it. But if it's off he'll knock it over and sometimes (very rarely) will play with it (has to be off).

and my 2 year old is absolutely horrified by it
