Going to lose my mind

My last therapy appointment was Nov 13th

I was supposed to have an appointment on Dec 11th

My therapist was sick so we had to reschedule it
It was rescheduled to Dec 18th at 10AM

I got a "reminder call" that my appointment was Dec 19 at 10 am. I asked the lady to double check and she checked again and it was the 19th

So I got a phone call around 5pm on the 18th, saying that I missed my appointment

I finally get through to the office to reschedule it a few minutes ago and my doc is on vacation until Jan 7th. She has nothing open and i will need to call back on Jan 8th to find out when she can get me in.

I probably won't be able to get in until mid january.


I'm losing it. I started crying on the phone. I don't know if I can go that long without seeing my doc. I'm normally in every other week (more often if needed) but the holidays have smurfed everything up.

All they could tell me is that if I am in crisis, I should to to the ER and get help.

I'm trying to avoid that at all costs. I have nobody to leave Cora with while I sit up in the psych ER and she cannot be with me there.

I don't need the ER right now. I'm not in crisis right now. But I'm getting panicky thinking about it.


I just want the security of knowing that I have an appointment. There is something comforting in knowing that I have a schedule

What condition are you being seen for?

Apparently I scared a few people wen I was talking about making a Will and now that I can't see my therapist

I know my limits and when I need to get help.
