I recently found out i have endometriosis, i was told i need to stay on BC until i wanna ttc...So I got the depo shot, im due again for it the end of jan. me and SO decided we wanna ttc but... He had kidney failure about a month ago and is now on dialysis and on the transplant list ( shouldnt be more then a year they said) they also in formed us that going through all of this could effect his ability to have children, We still wanna try but idk if its even worth the pain of trying and not being able to have another.. Would it be bad if i didnt get another shot? how can that effect my endometriosis? Any tips, advice?
TIA

My understanding about endometriosis is that it means (depending on how severe it is) it will eventually make it so that a baby can't implant properly. There are producers they can do to help you out with that. IMO, I would talk to a reproductive endocrinologist ( a baby making dr ). That way you can get all of the prilimiary blood work done before you make things harder for yourself to conceive later. You need to know if your hubby is even making sperm right now. If he isn't (because he's sick), it would be a bad idea to not get another shot.

My Dad has been on transplant list for two years now after Kidney failure, his doctors said the same thing with it not being more then a year. Knowing how bad my Dad is after his Kidney failure and the medical debt they are now in due to dialysis I wouldn't try for another child in that situation. Being an only child is necessarily a bad thing either.
