Someone give some advice??

I went to the ER TWICE yesterday.

I had been having upper back pain, chest and diaphragm pain. It was bearable, but extremely painful. The first ER ran an EKG, told me I had an inflammation of my chest wall and sent me home with a prescription for pain meds. I got them filled, took 2, went home...went to sleep for about 30 minutes and when I woke up, the pain was UNBEARABLE. I felt like I couldn't breath, my diaphragm felt like it had an elephant sitting on it..

So, I finally broke down in tears and went to another ER. Thankfully, they ran DIFFERENT tests and told me it was my gallbladder. They doped me up on morphine and more pain medicine and told me to contact this surgeon about having a gallbladder ultrasound/surgery.

My issue is...I'm on pregnancy medicaid and no other insurance. Will pregnancy medicaid cover the surgery, since the issue was caused by my pregnancy? I can't pay for the surgery up front and out of pocket, but I could probably make monthly payments. I just don't know how this stuff works..

It should cover anything until your Medicaid runs out. Be sure to have the surgery and any follow up before your medical ends.
