please tell me shes coming soon

I woke up at 1:30am yesterday with contrations 10mins apart. Then around 3am they went to 5 mins apart so I called l&d they said of they are not excruciating theto wait. Well those remained 5mins apart until 7am. Then they slowed down butwere a little stronger. Around 3pm they really started to get intense but were about ten mins apart. I called my dr and she said to go in. So I was having contractions 6 to 8 mins apart by that time (around 5:30pm) but I was still only 1-2 cm dilated. I did thin out from 25% to 50% since last week and babies head is at -2. The nurse last night told me I'd have some spotting from being checked but its more like the end of my period with dark brown chunks and I'm pretty sure my plug was part of it. So what do you ladies think? Will it be soon? I'll be 38 weeks on Saturday.

probably just prelabor. i'm 1-2 dilated and 50% effaced. i contract a lot and my doctor is able to feel babys head. Just gearing up.

I contracted for hours a day 5min apart starting at 34 weeks.
Gave birth at 40 weeks 4 days.
It could be weeks, still. Sorry. I know how exhausting and frustrating it is. Hang in there.

cant tell. ive had pains like that back when i was around there... i am still pregnant at 40 weeks and 2 days lol so losing your plug doesnt mean ANYTHING
