can you be stitched up too tight?

Okay I am new here but I really need some advice I had my baby 9 months ago, had a second degree tear. My doctor said everything seemed healed good but she noticed it may be sown a little to much? The opening to my vagina is TINY, having sex is hard, him getting in takes quite a bit of work. I am sorry if this is too personal!! My doctor said she can redo where the tore was repaired but it would not be covered by my insurance and it would be like 5000.. She said I should just use sex toys daily and have sex often and it should stretch back out. But she said it would be close to a year? LOL Not really sure if I believe her. We also use TONS of lube and he's on the average size. Can anyone here give any advice? I am also sorry if this has already been asked. thank you I dont know anyone in real life I can ask this either.

Yes you can, and some doctors give what is called a "husband stitch" on purpose because it's tighter for your husband to enjoy. Those who do that don't seem to care how it hurts the woman.

I believe this happened to me. The scar itself even feels tight if that makes sense and sex hurts. That's why I haven't done it in a year. I'm scared

My OB did it to me. It still hurts to have sex/any vaginal play (more at first.. then gets a little better) 8 months later. I hate my OB for doing it. I had a small opening to begin with..

My SO asks the doctor to put in extra stitch but not sure if he did. I think he was just joking but I do feel tighter during sex.
